Perhaps it was the gales sweeping the country at the time, or possibly the confusion caused by having to get another Boeing 757 out of the garage because the first one was broken. Whatever it was, Nephew Alan Dedden wants to know why Captain Speaking came out with: "Good morning, we've reached our cruising altitude and are well on our way. We shall be landing approximately in Moscow. Until then I will leave your hands in the cabin crew who will be pleased to look after you." uuuumm...very interesting. Is this, Alan asks, some sort of new in-flight entertainment or worrying signs of over-reliance on GPS navigation?
