Ameco has received authorisation from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) to provide line maintenance at the recently opened Beijing Daxing International airport.

The CAAC allows Ameco to conduct line maintenance works on Air China’s fleet, as well as eight aircraft types for third-party operators.

EASA gave Ameco its approval to work on Airbus A330s and A350s, as well as Boeing 787s.

The MRO company says the approvals would meet Air China’s needs, while also allowing it to service other operators at Daxing, which began operations on 25 September.

Cirium schedules data shows that Air China flies from Beijing Daxing to Bangkok, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Yinchuan, Kunming and Nanning.

Other Chinese carriers operating out of Daxing include Capital Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, China United Airlines, Juneyao Airlines, and Hebei Airlines
