With Saudia, Boeing will provide digital navigation charting services, under an agreement that also includes Jeppesen Flitedeck Pro, its electronic flightbag solution.

The agreement, which spans five years, will cover both Saudia’s main line, as well as private aviation operations.
Meanwhile, Ethiopian will engage Boeing in retrofitting connectivity solutions on its Boeing 787 fleet. Under the agreement, Boeing will provide engineering, design and project management.
It will also be assisting Ethiopian’s MRO unit with on-site technical assistance and training, Boeing adds.
Cirium fleets data indicates Ethiopian operates 22 787s: 18 787-8s, and four 787-9s. The Star Alliance carrier also has one more 787-9 on order.
Boeing did not disclose the value of both the contracts.
