Embraer has won three separate maintenance agreements from Air Botswana, Spanish carrier Binter and Mauritania Airlines.
Binter Canarias has signed a multi-year support agreement for three on-order Embraer 195-E2s, which are scheduled to be delivered from the second half of this year.
The total support package covers component services, pool access, heavy checks, routine and non-routine maintenance, landing-gear and brake overhauls, spare part supply, and provision of an Embraer technical representative at the airline’s base, the Brazilian airframer says.
Binter is launch customer for the total support programme on the E-Jet E2 series, Embraer notes.
The carrier’s vice-president Rodolfo Nunez states that the airframer’s support is “essential to offering our customers quality service as we modernize our fleet”.
Air Botswana signed a multi-year contract covering component repairs and pool access for a single E170.
Mauritania Airlines, meanwhile, selected a component pooling agreement for a pair of E175s, which includes logistical services and provision of an on-site equipment kit.
The first aircraft was delivered to the carrier in March, with the second scheduled to follow during the second quarter.
Mauritania Airlines chief executive Emal Mint Mawloud says the maintenance contract will enable the carrier to “reduce lead times and costs of our daily operations, guaranteeing efficiency and competitive results”.
