Jet Airways and ST Engineering Aerospace have expanded a deal covering maintenance of the CFM International CFM56-7B engines that power the Indian carrier's Boeing 737s.
The agreement builds on a 2015 contract that spanned "only a portion" of the 737s operated by Jet and subsidiary JetLite.
Now, the entire fleet of 80 737NGs operated by Jet and JetLite is covered, doubling the contract value to $700 million.
The services will be provided over a six-year period, starting in 2019, from ST Engineering Aerospace's facilities in Singapore and Xiamen, China.
