Dual Universal Avionics Systems UNS-1B flight-management systems with GPS-1000 global-positioning-system sensors are being used as the primary means of navigation in an Air Nelson Cessna Citation III. The system received certification from the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand for navigation in remote/ oceanic airspace, allowing the Citation to be used for charter flights to Australia.
