Chicago Executive Airport has broken into the top 40 busiest business aviation airports in the world, according to research by Forecast International. The former Palwaukee Municipal airport, has and sees in excess of 110,000 movements a year, and 294 aircraft are based there. “Perhaps our recent name change, which now clearly indicates our status in the Chicago region, is in part responsible for CEA making the list for the first time," says airport manager Dennis Rouleau. The airport says it reduces the demand for business aviation at the nearby O’Hare airport.
