Savannah Air Center (Booth 3997) has doubled its capacity since opening a new hangar in spring 2008, increasing its ability to carry out completions, refurbishment and modifications on large-cabin business aircraft. The 101,500sq ft structure caters for up to 12 large-cabin aircraft such as Global Express and Gulfstream V.
SAC was recently selected to perform interior completions and exterior paint on a series of green Challenger 850s, and has received a limited Transport Canada STC to install a high-speed data system on a European-based Learjet 60. SAC also holds an EASA STC to fit the first L3 Communications digital flight data recorder and Teledyne digital flight data unit on a European-registered Gulfstream IV.
