Bombardier signed an engine service agreement with Rolls-Royce at the show yesterday, which will allow the Canadian manufacturer to perform maintenance on the BR710 engines at Bombardier centers in Dallas, Tuscon, Hartford and Fort Lauderdale.
The BR710 family is installed on the Global family of Bombardier jets.
"Building on our nose to tail capabilities through partnerships ensures our operators have the quickest and highest quality services on every major aircraft component during their visit at a Bombardier facility," says Bombardier's Stan Younger.
Bombardier Aircraft service centers will be authorized to perform line maintenance and perform engine removals when they need to be sent to Rolls-Royce for heavy maintenance.
