The US National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has started the reorganisation of its board, appointing former senior United Airlines lobbyist Shelley Longmuir as president. Longmuir will replace Jack Olcott, who had held the post since 1992, and who is retiring this month. The NBAA, which represents around 7,300 business aviation companies in the USA, has sought to bolster its lobbying power in the face of increased anti-terrorist security measures at smaller airfields.
