Swiss charter operator PrivatAir has joined forces with Jet Fleet International to create a global fuel sales and marketing program. JFI-PrivatAir says the software eliminates time-consuming manual searches by evaluating published jet fuel prices in milliseconds. "The system immediately identifies the lowest prices among fixed-based operators, contract fuel suppliers and independent suppliers which customers secure using any standard credit card. "JFI-PrivatAir's business model mimics the buying power of commercial airlines and large fractional jet operators, who pay lower prices for fuel with large volume purchases," says the joint venture. By pre-negotiating bulk rates for its customers, JFI-PrivatAir can leverage the purchasing power of a global fleet, passing those savings on to the customer." Meanwhile, PrivatAir has partnered with Jet Evaluation & Technical Services to manage and its expand its dedicated aircraft brokerage department under the PrivatAir brand.
