Air Moldova is opening a new service to the Russian city of Ekaterinburg next year.
The carrier will operate from its Chisinau base thrice-weekly, says Ekaterinburg airport's management company.
Air Moldova is to deploy Airbus A319s for the service which commences on 28 April.
No other airlines serve the route between the city pair.
Air Moldova already conducts flights to Moscow, St Petersburg and Krasnodar.
