Middle Eastern carrier Etihad Airways is halving its New York JFK service ahead of the winter season.
The airline's reservations system no longer shows its EY103 service operating after 30 September.
Etihad uses Airbus A380s on the twice-daily route from Abu Dhabi to JFK.
The carrier says it will "amend its schedule" from a double-daily to a daily service from 1 October, adding that it will continue to use A380s on the route.
"Along with our travel agency partners, we will work closely with any impacted guests to notify them of the changes to their itineraries and re-accommodate them on alternative flights," it adds.
Etihad has not explained its decision to cut back the transatlantic service.
It disclosed on 5 June that it was planning to put a second daily A380 service on its Paris Charles de Gaulle route from the beginning of October.
Etihad has 10 A380s in its fleet.
