Middle Eastern carrier Oman Air is to open services to another UK destination, with flights to the city of Manchester.
Oman Air says it will begin operating daily to Manchester from its Muscat base from 1 April next year.
The airline says the UK is “one of the key markets” for its services.
It has not disclosed the aircraft type to be used on the new route.
Oman Air already operates to London Heathrow and recently introduced a second daily flight on the route.
No other carrier flies a scheduled non-stop route between the two countries, according to Flightglobal’s Innovata database. British Airways does operate Manchester to Muscat via a stop in Abu Dhabi.
