Air Astana has taken delivery of its first Airbus A321neo, registered P4-KDC.
The aircraft, on lease from AerCap, is configured with 28 business class and 151 economy class seats. It is powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines, states the Kazakh carrier.
This year, the airline intends to take delivery of two additional A321neos and one A320neo. The plan is to grow its A320neo family fleet to 17 aircraft by 2020.
Flight Fleets Analzyer shows that with the A321neo addition, Air Astana now operates 32 aircraft. It comprises 13 A320 family and two A320neo family jets, five Boeing 757-200s, three 767-300ERs, and nine Embraer 190s. The airline also has 20 aircraft on order.
