A string of planned new international services from Chengdu have been unveiled today during a signing ceremony at World Routes.
Alongside Ethiopian Airlines' new Addis Abab service, the new routes include Hainan Airlines starting a link from Chengdu to Los Angeles at the end of the year and plans for a New York service.
Sichuan Airlines inked three agreements with Sichuan Province Airport Group and the Chengdu provincial government. These are to collaborate on charter flights between Chengdu and Mexico, start direct services between Chengdu and Dubai, and to launch services between Chengdu and Auckland. E

Capital Airlines will also serve Madrid twice-weekly from mid-November, while Tibet Airlines will begin flights to Sochi next year.
