Russian carriers Ural Airlines and RusLine have been granted rights to serve respectively the Scandinavian cities of Copenhagen and Oslo.
Ural has been allocated three weekly frequencies on the Ekaterinburg-Copenhagen route, according to the Russian federal regulator Rosaviatsia.
The airline is planning to start the service in May. Ural operates Airbus A320-family jets.
Rosaviatsia adds that RusLine is being permitted to serve the route to Oslo from St Petersburg with seven weekly frequencies.
RusLine is based in Moscow and its fleet primarily comprises Bombardier CRJ200 regional jets.
