As Farnborough opens, its trans-Atlantic counterpart is today announcing its own plan to provide an improved package for the aerospace industry.
Aerospace North America, formerly known as Airshow Canada, has signed a strategic partnership deal with the Society of Automotive Engineers International (SAE), with SAE organising the US exhibition pavilion at the next show. The involvement of the US organisation will beef up the standing of the event, the organisers believe.
As part of the agreement, SAE will co-locate its Airframe/Engine Maintenance and Repair Conference (AEMR) at the show, which will take place at the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre from 10-12 August, 1999.
