Newly formed European Pilot Institute (EPI) last week launched a standardised training programme for European flight schools at the Aero 2003 air show in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

The European Pilot Project is aimed at assisting all flight schools with the practical implementation of new European Joint Aviation Requirements.

Luxembourg-based EPI has received funding from the European Commission to launch the web-based programme, which offers standardised Europe-wide training theory, from private pilot's licence to air transport pilot's licence courses.
