A veteran of association management, Holly Koenig, has assumed the role of executive director at in-flight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) trade group the World Airline Entertainment Association (WAEA).
Koenig becomes executive director in line with the WAEA board of directors' selection of Kellen Company as its association management company. As of 1 January, WAEA is headquartered in New York City, where Kellen Company manages all aspects of WAEA, including financial services, strategic planning, education, government affairs, communications and events management.
Washington, DC-based Association Management Group previously managed the organisation.
"Kellen Company's extensive experience in association management, global presence and seasoned team make it ideally suited to help the WAEA better meet the needs of its members," says WAEA president Patrick Brannelly.
Koenig fills a position held last year by Richard Owen, who now works as an IFEC consultant.
