Middle Eastern operator Emirates is set to show off the first of its Airbus A380s to be fitted in a higher-density 615-seat configuration.
The airline says it will unveil the aircraft during the Dubai air show, following a delivery which brings its fleet to 68 of the double-deck type.
Emirates has configured the jet with just two classes, featuring 58 business-class and 557 economy-class seats.
The aircraft (A6-EOP) was ferried to Dubai from Airbus’s Hamburg Finkenwerder plant on 4 November.
Emirates is intending to put the Engine Alliance GP7200-powered jet into service on the Copenhagen route on 1 December.
Its previous A380s have been fitted with three-class layouts comprising 489 or 517 seats.
