Hungary has become the second confirmed customer for Airbus Helicopters' HForce common weapons platform, with an order for 20 H145M medium-twins equipped with the system.
No details on the contract value or delivery timelines have been disclosed, however. In addition, no information on the weapons specification for the rotorcraft has been provided.
Budapest currently operates a fleet of ageing Russian-built Mil Mi-17 transport helicopters.
Serbia is the lead customer for the HForce system, which will equip four of its ordered H145Ms. Deliveries of the rotorcraft are scheduled to begin later this year.
