International Lease Finance has concluded a series of lease deals for Airbus and Boeing widebodies. Air Austral, based on the Indian Ocean island of Reunion, has leased two three-year-old Pratt & Whitney PW4090 Boeing B777-200ERs. The aircraft, which are leased to Air Europe, will be delivered in April and May 2003 on six-year lease terms; Portuguese carrier Air Luxor has added an ex-Sabena, PW4168-powered Airbus A330-300 on three-year lease; Spanish charter airline Iberworld has taken a PW4168-powered, ex-LTU A330-300 on three-year lease; Lauda Air Italy is to lease three new Rolls-Royce Trent 772-powered A330-200s to replace its Boeing 767s. The aircraft will be delivered in November 2003 and July and October 2004 on 10-year leases; Vietnam Airlines has leased an ex-LanChile Boeing 767-300ER. The PW4062-powered aircraft is on a three-year lease. Reykjavik-based Islandsflug is to take an ex-City Bird Airbus A300-600 Freighter on operating lease from Debis AirFinance. Islandsflug will operate the aircraft for Air France.
