Goodrich has won a deal to provide the flight control actuation system for the Irkut MS-21 single-aisle family aircraft.
The system will be part of the MS-21's complete integrated flight control system, which will be supplied by Russia's Aviapribor.
"Goodrich will contract with Aviapribor to design, develop and produce primary and secondary flight control actuation systems for all variants of the MS-21," says Goodrich.
The MS-21 is being developed as a family of short to medium range aircraft. Irkut plans for initial entry into service in 2016.
