Belgium's transport ministry has banned Chapter 2 aircraft from night flying between 23.00 and 6.00 at Brussels Airport from 1 June. The move has created concern among environmentalists as the Civil Aviation Agency concedes that the law is a step back from the former restrictions which forbade certain aircraft types. By introducing the definition "Chapter 2", the law legitimises operations with previously banned aircraft, even though they were marginally within Chapter 3 limits.
