Following its acquisition of Westinghouse's defence and electronics business, Northrop Grumman, of Los Angeles, California, has named Dr James Roche corporate vice-president and general manager of the unit, to be known as the Electronic Sensors and Systems division. Roche, corporate vice-president and chief advanced development, planning and public affairs officer, replaces Dr Francis Harvey, president of Electronic Systems, who is promoted to the new position of executive vice-president and chief operating officer of the the Westinghouse Industry and Technology Group.
