The French procurement agency (DGA) has launched a g140 million ($162 million) programme to integrate the MBDA ASMPA (improved air-to-ground medium-range) nuclear missile on the Dassault Mirage 2000N, taking it up to the so-called "K3" standard enabling the fighter to carry the missile and to give it air reconnaissance capacity with a new generation pod. Dassault Aviation will modify the aircraft, and Thales Optronique will supply the pod.
