Oman Air has contracted Joramco for base maintenance on its Embraer 175 and Airbus A330 fleet.
After the Jordanian MRO specialist conducted two regional jet base checks for Oman Air last year, the carrier has decided to send two further Embraer 175s and three A330s to Amman for airframe maintenance.
Work under the new contract began in May and is to be completed in November.
The MRO provider is “keen” to develop the relationship with Oman Air to cover additional maintenance services, says Joramco chief executive Osama Fattaleh.
