Air China has detailed the acquisition of a dozen Airbus A330-300s, in a stock exchange statement.
The Star Alliance carrier says it has entered into a purchase agreement with Airbus covering 12 A330-300s. Deliveries will begin later this year and run until 2018.
It is not immediately clear if the order relates to the large batch of A330s China's state aviation supplier group signed for during 2015.
Air China already operates 23 A330-300s and another 30 -200s in its fleet.
