The US National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) remains bullish about the prospects for this year’s convention, which has been shifted from New Orleans to Orlando following Hurricane Katrina. The event is also being held a week earlier, between 9-11 November.

The NBAA says only a “handful” of exhibitors have cancelled “because of scheduling problems”. The challenge to find accommodation “is immense, but all major hotels expect to meet our needs”. The association says the Orlando Orange County Convention Center has been “outstandingly helpful” in reorganising conventions at the centre to accommodate the NBAA.
