FAA administrator Randy Babbitt says more must be done in the experimental aircraft sector to increase safety. Speaking at AirVenture 2010, Babbitt noted that 25% of all GA accidents in the US in 2009 involved amateur built aircraft, and that accidents seemed to occur after the sale of those aircraft. Babbitt says more training may be needed after such transitions.
