Panasonic Avionics signed a 10-year contract with Aeromexico for unlimited spares and repairs on 10 of the airline's Boeing 737-800 aircraft with the Panasonic eX1 inflight entertainment and communications (IFEC) system installed.
These Aeromexico 737-800s are outfitted with the Boeing Sky Interior, and the airline signed a letter of intent with Boeing in July to grow its fleet with up to 90 737-8 Max aircraft and 10 787-9s.
Panasonic Avionics provides IFEC systems on more than 3,700 aircraft.
