Paul Fabrications (stand F101, hall 2B) has won a £20 million ($32.8 million) contract over five years with Rolls-Royce to supply a variety of components in numerous Rolls-Royce engines manufactured in Derby, Germany and the USA.

Managing director Ingard Sagstad says: "This contract shows that by investing in innovative technologies, facilities and work practices, we can compete with low-cost economies. It is a clear indication that our investment has paid dividends."

UK-based Paul Fabrications has added the latest CNC machinery and production management control systems to its capabilities, which has contributed to an on-time delivery record that greatly exceeds industry standards.

Its sister company, Precision Laser Processing, also continues to increase its aerospace business. A new twin head waterjet cutting machine complements its CO2 and Yag 5 axis laser cutting machines and it has also added folding capacity.
