Genoa, Italy-based Piaggio Aero Industries has announced certificating Ruag Aerospace as the authorised P180 Avanti business aircraft service centre for the Middle East and Europe.
Ruag and Piaggio are meanwhile "in the process" of partnering to also offer premium P180 services, including development of a supplementary type certificate, power-by-the-hour services and cabin refurbishment, Piaggio says.
Ruag will perform the maintenance and overhaul services for the P180 at the Lugano-Agno site.
