NH Industries has won a follow-on order for 34 NH90 tactical transport helicopters from the French army.
The order adds to a previous order for 34 of the type. So far, France has received six examples of the NH90.
The company celebrated the occasion with a contract signing at its chalet.
The French army recently dispatched one of its NH90s to the United Arab Emirates where it logged over 30 flight hours in desert conditions.
"The NH90 performed beyond expectations with an availability rate of more than 90%," says NH Industries.
