Parker Aerospace and Fokker Services have entered into an agreement to support the maintenance and repair requirements of the Embraer 145 series of regional transport jets

Fokker, headquartered in the Netherlands and a part of the Stork Aerospace Group, is an authorised Embraer aircraft maintenance facility. Parker is a long-time supplier to Embraer of flight controls, fuel components, and hydraulic system components, both as an OEM and on a repair and maintenance basis.

The partnership is geared primarily toward European-based operators, such as British Airways CitiExpress, BMI British Midland, Swiss Airlines, Alitalia Express, KLM Exel, Luxair and numerous others, possibly including operators located in South Africa.

Unique

Parker's customer support operations are strategically located in Wiesbaden, Germany, with additional support by the company's operations in Smithtown, New York; Elyria, Ohio; and Irvine, California.

"We're pleased to be entering into this unique relationship with Fokker, a recognised leader in the industry," says Bob Richardson, Parker's director of customer support for regional and business aircraft.

"We recognize that this is seen as a very positive step by Embraer, which continually strives to provide the greatest number of regional service and maintenance options for its customers."

Based in Irvine, California, Parker Aerospace designs, manufactures and services hydraulic, fuel, and pneumatic components and systems; and related electronic controls for aerospace and other high-technology markets.
