A Pilatus PC-12 single turboprop crashed on 29 March on approach to University Park Airport in State College, Pennsylvania, killing all six passengers and crew. The aircraft, serial number N770G was en route from Naples, Florida. Reported weather at the airport at the time of the crash was overcast at 1,700ft (520m) at a temperature 4ºC, with good visibility beneath the overcast. The accident is the fourth fatal crash of the PC-12 worldwide and the second in the USA. The Stans, Switzerland-based manufacturer has delivered over 500 aircraft to date.
