Honeywell and Flight Safety have teamed to develop a PC-based training system for the avionics systems on the Dassault Falcon EASy cockpit. The training package will allow instructors to use an actual Honeywell Primus Epic flight system that has been re-hosted in the computer. The system will become a key component of the Dassault Falcon Jet training programme.
"This will allow pilots to learn and practice the procedures of the EASy aircraft before they ever enter a full flight simulator," says Adrian Paull, vice-president Honeywell customer services.
