The installation of Saudi Arabia's Peace Shield air-defence system has passed a major milestone with completion of system-integration testing and opening of the central sector-operations and maintenance centres and training school at Prince Sultan AB. The Peace Shield is scheduled to be completed by prime contractor Hughes Aircraft in January 1996 at a cost of $5.7 billion.
