- Qinetiq North America has named Robert Topping president and chief operating officer. Topping previously served as president and chief executive of Westar Aerospace & Defense, which Qinetiq bought in 2004.

- Universal Weather and Aviation has realigned its senior management, appointing Greg Evans chairman of the board, Marjorie Evans vice-chairman and Ralph Vasami chief executive. Dave Diulus has been promoted from his former role of vice-president of network services to chief operating officer and executive vice-president.
- Stephen Gill is taking over from his father in the role of chairman at composites specialist M C Gill.
- Lessor AWAS has named Karl Griffin head of technical operations.
- Neil Hampson has been named aerospace and defence leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
