■ Shannon Aerospace has appointed Paul Murray as head of marketing and sales.
■ Fred Buttrell has resigned as president of Delta Air Lines’ regional subsidiary Comair, less than 18 months after taking on the role. Buttrell will be replaced by Comair chief financial officer Don Bornhorst.
■ Bombardier has elected Jean-Pierre Rosso to its board of directors.
■ The chairman of CPI Aerostructures’ audit committee, A Providenti, has resigned. Current audit committee member Walter Paulick will replace him. Eric Rosenfeld, non-executive chairman of the company’s board, will become a member of the audit committee.
■ TAT Industries has appointed Christophe Bernardini president of the board of directors and chief executive officer. Alain Corbel is taking on the role of chairman of the company’s newly created supervisory committee.
■ James Strong has been appointed as a non-executive director on the Qantas board.
■ Canadian aircraft maintenance firm ExelTech Aerospace is searching for a new chief executive following the resignation of Charles Laflamme.
■ The Carlyle Group has named Bill Boisture, formerly president of NetJets, as a senior advisor to the aerospace and defence team.
