CAE has appointed John Lenyo as president of its US operations. Lenyo, who replaces John Pitts, will be responsible for the Canadian company's military simulation and training business in the USA. Joseph Lubenstein is to succeed Walter Kozlow as president of Kaman Aerospace. Lubenstein moves from Pratt & Whitney. Giovanni Sebastiani has been appointed managing director and general manager of Meridiana. Sebastiani, formerly a managing director and executive chairman of various Alitalia operations, replaces Franco Trivi, although the latter retains his position as chairman of the Italian regional airline and its Geasar airport subsidiary. John Spooner, managing director of East Midlands Airport, has been named managing director of Manchester Airport. Boeing has appointed Di Ann Sanchez as vice-president (VP) of global diversity. Sanchez currently serves as VP-people for the company's Commercial Airplanes unit in Seattle. Air Wisconsin has appointed James Clarke as chief financial officer. Clarke joins the regional carrier from business jet operator Indigo Air, where he served in a similar position. Menzies Aviation, the aviation services company, has appointed Mervyn Walker as vice president of its European, Middle East and African sites. Walker will be responsible for business development through acquisition and organic growth n UAL's newly created business aviation subsidiary, BizJet Holdings, has appointed Donald Stretch as its senior vice president of finance and administration and chief financial officer. Noell Michaels also joins BizJet, as sales director. Dr Wolfgang Weiss has joined Fairchild Dornier as chief financial officer, based in Munich. Weiss replaces Rudi Lenz who has become president of Texas-based Fairchild Aircraft Services. Jeff Garwood, former chief executive of Commerx, has been named president of Garrett Aviation. Virgin Atlantic has named John Ryan as general manager.
