Boeing has named Paul Walters as regional vice-president (VP) south-east Asia. He was most recently VP Asia for the international marketing arm of Boeing Satellite Systems.
Rolls-Royce North America has named five new managers. David Whetton takes over as VP airlines Americas, Ian Aitken becomes president corporate aircraft, Scott Shannon is senior VP finance corporate aircraft, Glenn Brown becomes VP customer services corporate aircraft, and Alan Stiley has been named VP marketing corporate aircraft.
US Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta has appointed Philip Brady and Kip Hawley to the Federal Aviation Administration's Management Advisory Council Air Traffic Services Subcommittee. Brady is president of the National Automobile Dealers' Association; Hawley is executive VP corporate development at logistics company Arzoon. Both will retain these posts.
Northwest Airlines VP crew and performance analysis Glenn Woythaler has been named VP Atlantic region after the retirement of Dick Johnson.
Jennifer Pollino of Goodrich, formerly general manager turbomachinery products, is to become president of the aircraft wheels and brakes division.
