* MTU Aero Engines has appointed Jürgen Eschenbacher as vice-president design/engineering operations at MTU Aero Engines North America. Eschenbacher replaces Dr Oliver Kosing, who has returned to Germany.
* Aircraft components specialist A J Walter Aviation has named Simon Clements director of business development. Clements was previously sales and marketing director for the leasing markets division at Airbus.
* Bell Helicopter has appointed Bob Kenney vice-president of the Bell Boeing V-22 joint programme office. Kenney, who most recently held the post of vice-president at Sikorsky, will replace Mike Tkach at the end of February. Tkach will move to the post of vice-president of Boeing's Army Rotorcraft Systems.
