Peruvian charter operator CDS Regional Express has ordered four Xian Aircraft (XAC) MA60s.
Two of the aircraft will be used to carry passengers on charter routes, while the remaining two will be operated as cargo aircraft, said XAC's parent, the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC).
It did not say when the aircraft will be delivered to the carrier. CDS and XAC signed the purchase agreement on 20 May, said AVIC.
CDS said it chose the MA60 over other regional aircraft with the same range because of its "price and excellent performance".
