Ordered in June 2012 and offering a maximum payload capacity of 6t and rough filed operating performance, the asset was recently accepted by the African customer at the manufacturer's San Pablo final assembly site near Seville, Spain.
Cameroon's air force already has an air transport fleet comprising three Lockheed Martin C-130H Hercules introduced between 1977 and 1982, and one Israel Aircraft Industries-built Arava 202 fielded in 1985, says Flightglobal's MiliCAS database.
