Argentina's low-cost start-up Flybondi has marked the delivery of its first aircraft, a Boeing 737-800 leased from SMBC Aviation Capital.
The aircraft, MSN33821 and registered LV-HKS, was delivered to Flybondi in November although the airline held an event today in Argentina to celebrate the milestone.
Flybondi has said it plans to launch flights by year-end. Sales have not started. The airline will initially be based at Cordoba and Buenos Aires El Palomar.
"This is an exciting time in the development of our airline and we look forward to serving our future customers with this aircraft," says Flybondi chief executive Julian Cook.
Flybondi's 737 is configured with 189 seats in a single class, after undergoing modifications in Singapore. SMBC says the aircraft is its first to be delivered in Argentina.
