A Boeing 737-300 Freighter operated by Tri MG Airlines suffered a runway excursion at Wamena on 18 July.
In response to queries made by FlightGlobal, a company official confirmed the incident. He says the incident took place at around 11.50 local time, and the aircraft was landing after operating a Timika-Wamena flight. He also confirmed the aircraft's registration as PK-YGG.
Both towns are located in Indonesia's far eastern Papua province.
The official was unable to comment on the weather conditions when the incident happened, but said "the crew felt heavy pressure on the aircraft while landing," and that the "pilots had to do an excursion."

Images from social media suggest overcast conditions, with the aircraft is sitting on a grassy area, next to a flooded ditch it appears to have crossed before settling. The aircraft's attitude suggest that the entire undercarriage may have collapsed. In one image, the leftside landing gear has been torn backwards, the wheels lying next to the aircraft's flaps. There is no evidence of fire.
No injuries were reported in the accident, adds the official.
Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that the 1988-vintage aircraft is owned by G Rentals PTE Ltd, but has been operated and managed by Tri MG Airlines since April 2012. It was first delivered to Piedmont Airlines in November 1988.
