The new version of the Cessna Citation Sovereign rolled off the airframer's production line in Wichita, Kansas, on 5 March.
The midsize business jet is scheduled to enter service in the third quarter, featuring Pratt & Whitney Canada PW306D engines - giving a 280km (150nm) increase in range to more than 5,550km - and a Garmin G5000 touch-screen controlled integrated flightdeck cockpit. It will also have an integrated Cessna Clarity cabin management system; improved seats; enhanced short runway performance and integrated automatic throttles.

Winglets have also been added to the $17.8 million aircraft, giving the new Sovereign what Cessna calls "a distinct appearance and an aerodynamic boost".
"This rollout is proof of Cessna's commitment to bringing new products to customers in 2013, and demonstrates our strong investment in the future," says Kelly Reich, business leader for the New Citation Sovereign which was announced in October last year.
The first Sovereign entered service in 2004.
