Turkish regional operator Borajet has unveiled its first ex-Alitalia ATR 72-500 in the carrier's new colour scheme.
The aircraft, registered TC-YAD, is one of a batch of three acquired by the Istanbul-based operation after an auction of the former Alitalia regional fleet.
Borajet general manager Kadir Peker says the other two aircraft will be delivered this week.
The carrier intends to base the ATRs in Istanbul, Adana and Antalya and to deploy them domestically as well as on routes to Syria, Greece and Israel.
Borajet is still talking with Turkish carriers about wet-lease operations.
